Is PZ MON a Red Dwarf or a Red Giant?
Bibcode: 2008OAP....21...17B

Sergeev, S. G.; Bondar', N. I.

Hipparcos data (ESA 1997) give for PZ Mon a parallax π = 0.71 +- 1.17 mas that is not in agreement with earlier estimations of distance to the star of 15-30 ps and with its status of K- dwarf. There are presented spectra of PZ Mon in the region 3750-6150 Α with resolution of 7 ≈ Α, which were carried out in the Nasmith focus of 2.6 m reflector in …

The Orientation of the Dynamical Frames Relative ICRF by Use of Optical and Radar Observations Near-Earh Asteroids (NEAs)
Bibcode: 2007OAP....20..144Y

Yagudina, E. I.

ICRF (practical realization of ICRS) is now adopted as the fundamental celestial frame in astronomy. It is based on the positions of the extragalactic radio sources obtained by VLBI observations. Zero-point of right acsentions of ICRF was chosen in a such way that the right ascention of 3C273B quasar was taken from FK5 at the same epoch. The Hippa…

Searches of the Periods and Definition of Variability Types of New Variable Stars TX Crv, DP Cam, IRAS 17583+5150
Bibcode: 2004OAP....17...96S

Solonovich, A. P.; Bryukhanov, I. S.; Sergey, I. M.

Measurements of brightness of stars TX Crv, DP Cam, IRAS 17583+5150 opened in "IRAS" and "HIPPARCOS" experiments are carried out using negatives of the Odessa observatory. Proposed types of these stars: TX Crv -- type ISB(?), DP Cam -- type ISB, IRAS 17583+5150 -- type SRB (SRC).

Chemical and Dynamical Evolution in the Solar Neighbourhood
Bibcode: 2004OAP....17...19B

Kovtyukh, V.; Soubiran, C.; Bienaymé, O. +1 more

We measure the surface mass density of the galactic disk in the solar neighbourhood using two samples of red clump stars, we also determine the thin and thick disk chemical properties. High resolution spectral data of red clump stars towards the NGP have been obtained with the spectrograph Elodie at OHP for Tycho-2 selected stars. Nearby Hipparcos…

Symbiotic Nova V1016 Cyg as Interacting Binary
Bibcode: 2001OAP....14...61P

Chochol, D.; Pribulla, T.; Parimucha, S.

Long-term UBV photoelectric and photographic photometry of the symbiotic nova V1016 Cyg is discussed. The pre-outburst brightening in 1949, main nova-like outburst in 1964 and two small brightenings in 1980 and 1994 suggest 15.1±0.2 years period of activity. It is shown that a variation in the (J-K) colour index as well as that in the UV continuum…

The Investigation of Semi-Regular Variable UV Boo
Bibcode: 2001OAP....14..162P

Brukhanov, I. S.; Kudashkina, L. S.; Pikhun, A. I.

Periodogram analysis of the photographic observations of UV Boo based on Hipparcos data has showd two photometric periods: 596d± 47d and 11.74d± 0.01d and the same high peak on the value 10.60d± 0.02d. On Odessa plates data have showed three periods: 351.10d± 1.50d, 196.14d± 0.41d, 10.442d± 0.002d.
