Results of Processing of CCD Observations of Selected Open Clusters on Maidanak
Andruk, V. M.; Muminov, M. M.; Protsyuk, Yu. I. +4 more
Observations of 20 open clusters at the Maidanak Observatory were performed using the Zeiss-1000 telescope in the winter of 2018. As the light receiver, a CCD camera Apogee Alta U9000 (3K x 3K, FOV 19.5'x19.5') was used. All observations were performed using BVRI light filters. The exposure time, depending on the filter was from 60 to 150 seconds.…
Spectroscopic Investigations of Galactic Clusters with Associated Cepheid Variables. I. Polaris Cluster and α UMi.
Miroshnichenko, A. S.; Kovtyukh, V. V.; Danford, S. +4 more
We present the results of an analysis of the spectra of nine so called Polaris cluster A-FV stars obtained during 2016-2018. Radial velocities (RV) and GAIA DR 18 parallaxes-distances for these stars allow us to determine their membership in the cluster and to construct its 3D kinematic model. However Teff for four stars determined spec…
Spectroscopic Investigations of Galactic Clusters with Associated Cepheid Variables. II. NGC 5662 and V Cen
Kniazev, A. Yu.; Miroshnichenko, A. S.; Mishenina, T. V. +4 more
We present the results of a spectroscopic and photometric investigation of 15 objects from the open cluster NGC 5662, which contains the Cepheid V Cen. Besides the Cepheid, we studied one G-supergiant, two K-giants, four B-giants, and seven main sequence stars. Radial velocities (RV), v sin i, Teff, log g, and [Fe/H] were determined usi…
Kinematics of the Milky Way from Velocities of Young Red Clump Giants Using the PMa and Gaia DR2 Data
Fedorov, P. N.; Velichko, A. B.
Subsample of 19,600 young red clump giants with distances up to 1200 pc was selected from 7.2 mln Gaia DR2 data with radial velocities using the MG vs. G - KS diagram. Ages of these stars do not exceed 2 bln years. For this stellar subsample kinematic parameters of the Ogorodnikov-Milne model as well as the Kxy-ter…
X-ray Emission of ICRF Sources
Tugay, A. V.; Shevchenko, S. Yu.; Voitsekhovskiy, V. V. +1 more
Considering increasing requirements to the coordinates measurement precision by the end of XX century International Astronomical Union commenced implementation of the new astrometric system ICRF (International Celestial Reference Frame). This quasi-inertial reference frame system centered in the barycenter of the Solar System and has axes defined …
Investigation of the Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Plus Scanner of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan
Andruk, V.; Yuldoshev, Q.; Mullo-Abdolov, A. +3 more
This work was done to estimate the accuracy of the processing method of photographic plates and the detailed study of the Microtek ScanMaker 1000XL Plus scanner, which plans to be used for the digitizing of about 1600 photographic plates of the Astrophysics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (Dushanbe) recorded for …
Catalogue of Coordinates and B-Magnitudes in -20° - +2° Zone Based on the Ulugh Beg Astronomical Institute Part of the Fon Project
Ehgamberdiev, Sh. A.; Andruk, V. M.; Muminov, M. M. +5 more
Catalogue of 13.4 million stars down to 17.5m was obtained in 2017 by using plates from the Kitab Observatory of Ulugh Beg Astronomical Institute (UBAI) of the Uzbek Academy of Sciences. Kitab's part of Photographic Sky Survey (Russian abbreviation is FON, in next contexts) project include more than 2600 photographic plates, exposed on …
Catalogue of Astrometric Positions of Jupiter's Outer Satellites on Photographic Observations in Mao NAS of Ukraine in 1987-1993
Yizhakevych, O.; Andruk, V.; Pakuliak, L.
The catalog of 33 topocentric positions of Jupiter's moons J6, J7, J8 has been created on photographic observations made in MAO NASU in 1987-1993. Positions are referred to the system of TYCHO-2 using the program package INUX/MIDAS/ROMAFOT. The comparison of observed positions was made online with their theoretical data of IMCCE (www.imcce.fr/sat).
Determination of the Galaxy Cluster Orientation Using X-Ray Images by FOCAS Method
Tugay, A. V.; Shevchenko, S. Yu.
In our work we considered orientations of bright X-ray halos of the galaxy clusters (mainly Abell clusters). 78 appropriate clusters were selected using data from Xgal sample of extragalactic objects in XMM-Newton observation archive. Position angles and eccentricities of these halos were calculated applying FOCAS method. No privilegd orientations…
Accuracy of Mykolaiv Asteroid Observations with Different Reference Catalogues
Maigurova, N. V.; Pomazan, A. V.; Bodryagin, D. V. +1 more
The results of astrometric reductions of main belt asteroid observations with usage of 3 different reference catalogues are presented. The high precision catalogs CMC15, UCAC4 and GAIA DR1 were used as reference catalogues for calculation asteroid equatorial coordinates. The asteroid observations were carried out at KT-50 telescope of the RI "MAO"…
