Compiled catalogue of stellar proper motions in the Hipparcos system in MEGA program areas
Bibcode: 2004KFNT...20d.366K

Kharchenko, N. V.

The compiled catalogue of proper motions in the Hipparcos system MEGA-H is created for 18169 stars. The data of the original catalogue (MEGA-G) and All-Sky Compiled Catalogue of 2.5 million stars (ASCC-2.5) are used. The errors of magnitude equation and zero-point are taken into account in each 47 program areas individually.

A comparison of some astrometric catalogues with the use of stars with large proper motions
Bibcode: 2003KFNT...19..477I

Yatsenko, A. I.; Ivanov, G. A.

Pairwise differences of positions and proper motions of stars from the catalogues HIPPARCOS, CMC11, FONAC, NPM1, and PPM were used to determine their random and systematic errors. A significant relationship between differences of coordinates and proper motions of stars and their B-V colour indices was found for some pairs of the catalogues.

Compiled catalogue of MK spectral classifications, including astrometric and photometric data
Bibcode: 2003KFNT...19...87R

Rybka, S. P.

The catalogue constructed as a tool for stellar kinematic analysis is described. It contains up-to-date information on spectral classifications in the MK system, positions and proper motions in the ICRS system, as well as BV magnitudes for 71334 single stars. Astrometry and photometry were mainly selected from the Tycho-2. MK spectral types and lu…

A comparative estimation of the accuracy of modern astrometric catalogues
Bibcode: 2003KFNT...19..379N

Nefedjev, Yu. A.; Rizvanov, N. G.; Shaimukhametov, R. R.

A method for a comparative estimation of the accuracy of astrometric catalogues in the random meaning is offered. The estimation is done by comparison of star coordinates in the catalogues under study with star coordinates in the HIPPARCOS catalogues for various epochs. Variances of star positions and proper motions in the catalogues under investi…

All-sky compiled catalogue of 2.5 million stars
Bibcode: 2001KFNT...17..409K

Kharchenko, N. V.

The all-sky Compiled Catalogue of more than 2.5 million stars with the limiting magnitude V ≈14(m) was created as a result of combining of star lists from present-day large high-precision catalogues of space (HIPPARCOS Tycho family catalogues) and ground-based (PPM, CMC11) observations and reducing them to the standard systems of corresponding ste…

Comparison of the GPM proper motions with the data from modern astrometric catalogues
Bibcode: 2001KFNT...17...58R

Rybka, S. P.

Proper motions, positions, B, V magnitudes and (B-V) colors from the GPM catalogue were compared with those from the Lick NPM1, the Carlsberg CMC, and the ESA "Tycho-2" catalogues. It turned out that the systematic differences of proper motions were in the range from 2 to 4 mas/yr. The external data also proved that the accuracy of the GPM proper …

New version of the latitude set derived from observations with a prismatic astrolabe in Poltava
Bibcode: 2001KFNT...17..372K

Khalyavina, L. Ya.; Kislitsa, K. M.; Borisyuk, T. Ye. +1 more

The latitude set derived from observations with the prismatic astrolabe in Poltava during 37 years (1964.5--2000.9) is revised in order to improve the reliability and validity of the observation results. To this purpose the accurate coordinates of the HIPPARCOS catalogue are used, and the method is applied which takes into account the instrumental…

Detection of moving clusters by a method of cinematic pairs
Bibcode: 2000KFNT...16...20K

Khodjachikh, M. F.; Romanovsky, E. A.

The algorithm of revealing of pairs stars with common movement is offered and is realized. The basic source is the catalogue HIPPARCOS. On concentration of kinematic pairs it is revealed three unknown earlier moving clusters in constellations: 1) Phe, 2) Cae, 3) Hor and, well known, in 4) UMa are revealed. On an original technique the members of c…

Reduction of the measurements of the FON program plates with the use of USNO act data
Bibcode: 2000KFNT...16...67Y

Yatsenko, A. I.

The method of reduction of plate measurements within the northern sky photographic survey program (FON) is described. The ACT Reference Catalogue was employed for the reductions of positions. The BJ magnitudes from the Tycho Catalogue were used for the calibration of the measured diameters of stars. The GSC1.1 catalogue was used to dete…

Comparison of coordinates and proper motion of FONAC stars with HIPPARCOS and CMC11 data
Bibcode: 2000KFNT...16..261Y

Yatsenko, A. I.

The (FONAC - Hic) and (FONAC - CMC11) differences of coordinates and proper motions were considered as orthogonal functions dependent on equatorial coordinates and magnitude of stars. After the systematic part of the expansions is taken into account the root-mean-square differences (FONAC - CMC11) are, on the average, 0.24'' in both coordinates fo…
