Kinematic characteristics of the Milky Way globular clusters based on Gaia DR2 data
Chemerynska, I. V.; Ishchenko, M. V.; Sobolenko, M. O. +2 more
Using the data from Gaia (ESA) Data Release 2 we performed the orbital calculations of globular clusters (GCs) of the Milky Way. To explore possible close encounters (or collisions) between the GCs, using our own developed high-order φ-GRAPE code, we integrated backward and forward orbits of 119 objects with reliable positions and proper motions. …
Ammonia in circumstellar environment of V Cyg
Szczerba, R.; Etmański, B.; Schmidt, M. R.
The HIFI instrument on board of the Herschel Space Observatory (HSO) has been very successful in detecting molecular lines from the circumstellar envelopes around evolved stars, like massive red supergiants, Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB) and post-AGB stars, as well as the planetary nebulae. Among others, ammonia have been found in the circumstella…
Estimation of the flux tube diameters outside sunspots using Hinode observations. Preliminary results
Lozitsky, V. G.; Botygina, O. O.; Gordovskyy, M. Yu.
Indirect estimations of diameters of the smallest flux tubes outside sunspots are made using SOT/Hinode observations of Fe I 6301.5 and 6302.5 lines. These estimations are based on the comparison of measured effective magnetic field strength B_{eff} in named lines. It is shown that B_{eff}(6301.5)/B_{eff}(6302.5)≈ 1.3 in the range B_{eff}=40-300 G…
Identification of the ~3.55 keV emission line candidate objects across the sky
Savchenko, D. O.; Iakubovskyi, D. A.
An emission line at the energy ~3.55 keV detected in different galaxies and galaxy clusters has caused numerous discussions in high-energy astrophysics and particle physics communities. To reveal the origin of the line, we analyzed publicly-available observations of MOS cameras from XMM-Newton cosmic observatory - the instrument with the largest s…
The luminosity - spectral index dependence of the X-ray bright Seyfert galaxies
Tugay, A. V.; Sadova, V. A.
X-ray luminosities and spectral indices of 97 bright Seyfert 1 (Sy1) galaxies from the XMM-Newton archive are analysed in this article. Distribution of these values is random, so we conclude that the model of emission should be at least two-parametric. Within the framework of the merging model of active galactic nuclei (AGN), the relation between …
Creation of 2-5 keV and 5-10 keV sky maps using XMM-Newton data
Savchenko, D. O.; Iakubovskyi, D. A.
Sky maps are powerful visualisation tools for quicklook analysis of extended sources. The latest sky map in soft X-rays (0.1-2.4 keV) has been created in the 1990's using ROSAT data. By analysing publically available data from XMM-Newton X-ray mission we constructed new sky maps in two energy bands - 2-5 keV and 5-10 keV, complementary to ROSAT da…
Observations of Sy2 galaxy NGC 3281 by XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL satellites
Vasylenko, A. A.; Fedorova, E.; Zhdanov, V. I.
We present the results of the analysis of X-ray properties of the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3281, based on the observational data obtained by XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL within the energy ranges 0.2-12 keV and 20-150 keV, respectively. The XMM-Newton spectrum of this object is presented for the first time. We show that fitting the X-ray spectrum of this ga…
Bright X-ray galaxies in SDSS filaments
Tugay, A. V.
Eighteen bright X-ray emitting galaxies were found in nearby filaments within the SDSS region. Basic X-ray spectral parameters were estimated for these galaxies using a power law model with photoelectric absorption. A close pair of X-ray galaxies was found.
Nonthermal emission model of isolated X-ray pulsar RX J0420.0-5022
Chkheidze, N.; Babyk, Iu.
In this paper, an alternative theoretical interpretation to the generally assumed thermal emission models of the observed X-ray spectrum of isolated pulsar RX J0420.0-5022 is presented. It is well-known that at a pulsar surface, the distribution function of relativistic particles is one-dimensional. However, cyclotron instability causes an appeara…
On the question of detecting granulation signal in CoRoT light curves of A and B stars
Ghazaryan, S.
We applied the procedure written by us to HgMn targets observed both through CoRoT astero and exo channels to check its usefulness for search of possible existence of solar-type granulation signature in their power spectrum. The point is that many articles appeared very recently considering this problem but, we did not find any paper on this issue…
