An ultraviolet identification list for the AP star IOTA Cassiopeiae.
Bibcode: 1984AcA....34..463J

Jasinski, M.; Woszczyk, A.

The authors present a detailed identification of the absorption lines in the ultraviolet spectrum of ι Cas. The list contains 412 lines. The identified lines belong mainly to iron and chromium. Also many lines of manganese are present.

Far UV radiation in cataclysmic variables.
Bibcode: 1983AcA....33..149W

Drechsel, H.; Rahe, J.; Wargau, W.

The absolute continuum flux distributions in the far UV region of nine cataclysmic systems exhibit considerable excess radiation over the fluxes expected from steady-state optically thick accretion disk models. The UV continua can alternatively be interpreted as superposition of two blackbody sources: a hot (0.5 - 2×105K) component orig…

The IUE observation of the active binary II Pegasi = HD 224085
Bibcode: 1982AcA....32..315U

Udalski, A.; Rucinski, S. M.

II Pegasi is a bright single line spectroscopic binary with an orbital period of 6(d).72. Teh visual light curves of the star exhibit asymmetric light variations with the period very close to the orbital one. The shape of these curves changes on a time scale of years. In connection with the interesting properties of II Peg, it was decided to obtai…

Absorption Spectra of Interstellar Grains - Part Two - Fine Structure of the 2200 Hump
Bibcode: 1981AcA....31..427C

Chlewicki, G.; Krelowski, J.

The ultraviolet TD-1 and IUE spectra of reddened stars were analyzed in order to check the possibility of some differences in the 2200 hump profile, dependent on the spectral type or luminosity of observed stars. The profiles seem to be clearly affected by stellar parameters supporting our earlier hypotesis that this prominent UV spectral feature …
