Ultraviolet stellar spectral classification using a multilevel tree neural network

Here we present a pattern classification technique based on an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) in a multi-level tree configuration to classify ultraviolet stellar spectra from the IUE Low-Dispersion Spectra Reference Atlas.
