We report detection of stellar C III λ1909 emission in IUE echelle spectra of early-type [WC] central stars of planetary nebulae (CSPNs). We report the results of the deepest imaging survey yet carried out of the IPN1 localization of gamma-ray burst (GRB) 790325b.
