Identification of Planetary and Proto-Planetary Nebulae Candidates Through AKARI Infrared Photometry
DOI: 10.48550/arXiv.2407.16060 Bibcode: 2024RMxAA..60..261M

Corral, L. J.; Ramos-Larios, G.; Kemp, S. N. +3 more

We utilized photometric data from the space telescope AKARI to identify potential planetary nebulae (PNe) and proto-planetary nebulae (PPNe) candidates. Using the color-color diagram, we found a region with a high concentration of established PNe and PPNe, comprising about 95% of the objects. Based on this, we identified 67 objects within this reg…

Infrared characteristics of the BIS catalog objects
DOI: 10.48550/arXiv.1708.04330 Bibcode: 2017RMxAA..53..507G

Nesci, R.; Rossi, C.; Gaudenzi, S. +3 more

We studied several color-color infrared diagrams of the 276 late type stars of the BIS catalog. For 95 of these stars we derived spectral classification from our slit spectroscopy. From the 2MASS color diagram we concluded that none of the sample stars is a dwarf. The WISE 3.4-12 vs 12-22 plot is the best to discriminate the variability type (Mira…

Spectral Properties and Variability of BIS objects
DOI: 10.48550/arXiv.1707.08628 Bibcode: 2017RMxAA..53..449G

Nesci, R.; Rossi, C.; Gaudenzi, S. +3 more

Through the analysis and interpretation of newly obtained and of literature data we have clarified the nature of poorly investigated IRAS point sources classified as late type stars, belonging to the Byurakan IRAS Stars catalog. From medium resolution spectroscopy of 95 stars we have strongly revised 47 spectral types and newly classified 31 sourc…

Spectroscopic analysis of four post-AGB candidates
DOI: 10.48550/arXiv.1405.6746 Bibcode: 2014RMxAA..50..293M

Pereira, C. B.; Arellano Ferro, A.; Muneer, S. +2 more

We have done a detailed abundance analysis of four unexplored candidate post- Asymptotic Giant Branch(AGB) stars IRAS 13110 - 6629, IRAS 17579 - 3121, IRAS 18321 - 1401 and IRAS 18489 - 0629 using high resolution spectra. We have constructed Spectral Energy Distributions (SED) for these objects using the existing photometric data combined with inf…

A one-sided knot ejection at the core of the HH 111 outflow
DOI: 10.48550/arXiv.1212.1664 Bibcode: 2013RMxAA..49...79G

Loinard, L.; Rodríguez, L. F.; Gómez, L.

We present an astrometry study of the radio source VLA 1 at the core of the HH 111 outflow using new data (2007) as well as archival observations (1992-1996). All data were taken at 3.6 cm with the Very Large Array in its most extended (A) configuration. The source VLA 1 has undergone a dramatic morphological change, showing a one-sided knot eject…

Mid- and Far-Infrared Photometry of Galactic Planetary Nebulae with the AKARI All-Sky Survey
DOI: 10.48550/arXiv.1102.0526 Bibcode: 2011RMxAA..47...83P

Phillips, J. P.; Márquez-Lugo, R. A.

We provide mid- and far-infrared photometry of 857 Galactic planetary nebulae (PNe) using data derived from the AKARI All-Sky Survey. These include fluxes at 9 and 18 µm obtained with the Infrared Camera (IRC), and at 65, 90, 140 and 160 µm using the far-Infrared Surveyor (FIS). It is noted that the IR luminosities of the youngest PNe …
