Diagnostics of the solar coronal plasmas by magnetohydrodynamic waves: magnetohydrodynamic seismology

Macroscopic wave and oscillatory phenomena ubiquitously detected in the plasma of the corona of the Sun are interpreted in terms of magnetohydrodynamic theory.
