Corrigendum to "The Sunlit lunar atmosphere: A Comprehensive study by CHACE on the Moon Impact Probe of Chandrayaan-1" [Planet. Space Sci. 58 (2010) 1567-1577]
Sridharan, R.; Ahmed, S. M.; Sreelatha, P. +4 more
The authors regret, an inadvertent error that could creep in while one attempts to estimate the number densities based on the reported lunar atmospheric composition data from the CHACE measurements in CHANDRAYAAN-1, the first Indian mission to the moon has been identified.
Study of olivine-rich dark halo crater - Beaumont L in Mare Nectaris using high resolution remote sensing data
Chauhan, Prakash; Rajawat, A. S.; Kumar, A. S. Kiran +1 more
Study of dark-haloed craters (DHCs) can provide important information about the geology, mineralogy and evolution of certain hidden mare deposits known as cryptomare. Some DHCs have been identified in the Mare Nectaris region of the near side of the Moon. Beaumont L represents one such DHC situated on the western flank of the Nectaris basin. Moon …
Identification of tectonic deformations on the south polar surface of the moon
Singh, Priyadarshini; Mukherjee, Saumitra
Recent extensional and contractional tectonic features present globally over the lunar surface have been studied to infer lunar crustal tectonism. Investigation of indicators of recent crustal tectonics, such as fault lines, thrust fault scarps, and dislocation of debris along the identified fault planes, primarily using data from the miniature-sy…
