Monte-Carlo Simulations of the Suzaku-XRS Residual Background Spectrum

Cryogenic micro-calorimeters are suitable to detect small amounts of energy deposited by electromagnetic and nuclear interactions, which makes them attractive in a variety of applications on ground and in space.
