SOHO/LASCO observation of an outburst of Comet 2P/Encke at its 2000 perihelion passage

Comet 2P/Encke was observed with the SOHO/LASCO C2 and C3 coronagraphs over a time interval of 11 days, starting 4 days before its September 2000 perihelion passage and through several broadband visible filters.
