We present results obtained from the studies of magnetic activities on four solar-type stars (F-type star KIC 6791060, K-type star LO Peg, and two M-type planet-hosting stars K2-33 and EPIC 211901114) by using optical observations from several ground- and space-based telescopes. In this study, we investigate magnetic activities such as spot-topogr…

Photometric study of the open cluster NGC 381
Bibcode: 2019BSRSL..88..291M

Joshi, Y. C.; Maurya, J.

We present UBVRcIc photometry of stars, down to the 20th magnitude, in the region of the intermediate- age open cluster NGC 381. The core and the cluster radii are estimated to be 2.99 +/- 0.93 and 5.6 +/- 0.1 arcmin, respectively. A total of 350 probable cluster member stars are identified by using proper motion from GAIA as the criterion of memb…

High-mass Star Formation towards the southern infrared Bubble S10
Bibcode: 2019BSRSL..88..232D

Vig, S.; Ghosh, S. K.; Ishwara-Chandra, C. H. +2 more

We present a multi-wavelength analysis of the southern infrared bubble S10. Radio continuum emission is detected towards the bubble at 610 and 1280 MHz, and the bubble is estimated to be powered by massive stars of spectral type B0.5 - B0. A Class I/II type source, with an estimated mass of 6.2 Msol, lies 7'' from the radio peak. Six massive clump…
