A method is developed for analyzing stellar velocity fields in our Galaxy, with allowance for spiral-density-wave perturbations. Examples of saddle structures observed in images of the Sun in Hα, soft X-ray (YOHKOH SXT), and ultraviolet (SOHO EIT) emission are presented.
