We present results of our analysis of the XMM-Newton and Swift observations of the galaxy with Sy 1.9 active nucleus Mrk 1498. We analyze the spectra obtained from three EPIC cameras (PN and both MOS) within the 0.2-12 keV energy range and Swift/BAT instrument within the range of 14-195 keV.
