Observations of Sy2 galaxy NGC 3281 by XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL satellites
Vasylenko, A. A.; Fedorova, E.; Zhdanov, V. I.
We present the results of the analysis of X-ray properties of the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3281, based on the observational data obtained by XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL within the energy ranges 0.2-12 keV and 20-150 keV, respectively. The XMM-Newton spectrum of this object is presented for the first time. We show that fitting the X-ray spectrum of this ga…
Bright X-ray galaxies in SDSS filaments
Tugay, A. V.
Eighteen bright X-ray emitting galaxies were found in nearby filaments within the SDSS region. Basic X-ray spectral parameters were estimated for these galaxies using a power law model with photoelectric absorption. A close pair of X-ray galaxies was found.
Nonthermal emission model of isolated X-ray pulsar RX J0420.0-5022
Chkheidze, N.; Babyk, Iu.
In this paper, an alternative theoretical interpretation to the generally assumed thermal emission models of the observed X-ray spectrum of isolated pulsar RX J0420.0-5022 is presented. It is well-known that at a pulsar surface, the distribution function of relativistic particles is one-dimensional. However, cyclotron instability causes an appeara…
