Kinematics of a Sample of Visual Double Stars

Abstract

The Hipparcos-Input Catalogue also contains about 8000 already known visual double stars. In the framework of this-project campaign, in addition to other parameters, were also determined the parallaxes ?, as well as the polar coordinates ? and ? for double stars. On the basis of a comparison of these data to those obtained earlier from the ground based measurements (WDS Catalogue) statistical examinations of a double-star sample (1' ? ? ? 14') are performed. It is shown that an exceptionally good agreement exists of the statistical distribution ??/?t of the sample as function of ?(AU) and the curve ? = C(?)/?2 representing the II Kepler law. Iz podataka WDS kataloga i onih dobijenih u kampanji Hipparcos, na uzorku od 1000 vizuelno dvojnih zvezda, analizirana je statisticka raspodela promene pozicionog ugla po vremenu u funkciji radijus vektora izrazenog u astronomskim jedinicama. Pokazano je da ta raspodela ima izuzetno dobro slaganje sa krivom koja predstavlja Drugi Keplerov zakon kod 80% parova uzorka te se moze zakljuciti da su ovi parovi u fizickoj vezi.
