EXOSAT observations of the 5 March 1979 gamma-ray burst source location (GBS 0526-66).

Abstract
The authors report about a two day observation of the 1979 March 5 gamma-ray burst location (GBS 0526-66) with the European X-ray satellite EXOSAT. These observations were performed on 1984 December 30 and 1985 January 3 in coordination with a world wide burst watch of this location by a variety of instruments sensitive in the optical, radio and X-ray wavelength ranges. No bursts were seen by EXOSAT.
