Abstract

Two high resolution spectrograms in the range of 1150-2050 A were obtained by the IUE satellite, and from the spectrograms line lists of the stellar and interstellar absorption were compiled. The most important ions were found to be He (+); one, two and three times ionized C and Si; two and three times ionized O, three times ionized Mn; and two, three and four times ionized N. Eight interstellar molecular bands of (C-12)(O-16) of the fourth positive system were found, although the (C-13(O-16) bands were not detected. Due to uncertainties and the observed ionization fractions in other early-type stars, it is concluded that the mass loss rate of HD 102567 is between 10 to the -9th and 10 to the -10th solar mass/yr, with a most probable value of 3 x 10 to the -10th solar mass/yr.
