Abstract
31 spectra obtained with the LWR camera of the IUE satellite in the period 1978 - 83 are analysed. Except strong Mg II h and k lines three other weak emissions are found. Changes of intensities of the emission lines are not correlated with photometric (rotational) period. The Mg II emissions show very good correlation with half of the orbital period. The authors interpret this effect as evidence of direct influence of tidal interaction on the chromospheric structure.
