Abstract
Coronae diameters defined by topographic rims, not fractures, are slightly larger. Most coronae have fracture annuli that overlap their topographic rims. Some corona models predict fractures interior to the topographic rims. There is little difference in the dimensions of rims with and without fractures. Fracture formation may be influenced by strain rate or regional stress field.
