Abstract
The possibility of contamination of the published UV continuum spectra of the Herbig-Haro objects HH 1 and HH 2 and the Cohen-Schwartz (C-S) star by the Orion reflection nebulosity (ORN) is pointed out. OAO 2 data suggest that the UV continuum observed in the environment of the C-S star may possibly be accounted for by the emission from the ORN. In the case of HH 1 and HH 2, the data suggest that there could be a contamination of the published spectra at λ ≤ 1500 Å of the order of 30%-50%.
