Abstract
We present the preliminary results of a cross-identification between radio, infrared and X-ray data, in order to study X-ray populations at low and high galactic latitudes. For this purpose, we developed an improved search strategy based on very restrictive selection criteria being applied to the sources, using the NVSS, 2MASS and XMM catalogs. Using our IDL based code to cross correlate the data, we found 1195 coincident sources inside the combined radio/X-ray uncertainty radius. For these sources we computed hardness ratio (HR) diagrams in order to characterize X-ray populations and provide clues on the nature of unidentified objects.
