Abstract

Observational results are given for two flares in Pi Pegasi that were detected by the GINGA and IUE satellites, as well as by ground-based Johnson U-band photometry and optical spectroscopy. The best-fitting results were obtained for a combination of a single-temperature plasma together with a power law; for a two-temperature model, the temperature of the second component was very high due to the tail in the photon distribution.
