About the Absolute UV Flux of the OF Star HD 152408

Abstract
The UV telescope with a three channel spectrometer was launched on March 23, 1983. The absolute calibration of the system was carried out using standard stars measured by the TD1 and IUE spacecrafts. During the first months of operation, photometric controls were done in order to test the stability, reproducibility of the data. These measurements lead to a discrepancy between the TD1's values and the UFT measured flux for the 08f star, HD 152408, by a factor of three. This report gives an analysis about possible error sources. Examples of common stars spectra are also given for comparison with previous data.
